A Dell notebook (laptop) may be quite an acquisition for somebody interested in computers and in need of one that is light and thin, therefore extremely portable. Besides the fact that it is very easy to handle and carry around, a Dell notebook can brag about low prices. For instance, the new Dell Mini Inspiron comes for less than $500 but the more options you would like it to have on it, the higher gets the price. Moreover, this Dell notebook has a TFT display and its resolution is of 1024—600 pixels. The processor is an Intel Atom with a frequency of 1.6 Ghz. It comes with a card reader so you may forget about cables required to transfer photos or other types of data, as this system makes it all easier for the user. It also has a built-in web camera and a module for wireless communications if you are interested in accessing the Internet. The two operating systems it can function with are OS Windows XP and Ubuntu Linux.
Another Dell notebook that has widely appealed to customers is the artist edition Inspiron 1525. The looks of this series is totally new and therefore more attractive or stimulating as compared to other notebooks. Thus, the customer can choose both the pattern and the color of the computer so as to match personal taste. Dell notebook manufacturers have initiated a collaboration with Mike Ming, a Brooklyn artist, who owns two plants the Sea Sky and Bunch of Surfers and who had the idea of infusing a popular mini laptop with a touch of energy, elegant complexity and psychedelic lines. Dell company guarantees that the design looking like an original Ming will not fade or wear off in color as the designed is inlaid and of very high quality.
In conclusion, a Dell notebook should be chosen carefully depending on what work you need to do. If you want the mini-laptop for your own free time, then you can go for the Inspiron line, mentioned above, which has been created taking into account the reduced customer budget. The models in this category are to be more accessible for those who still prefer a version of computer that is portable and handy anywhere they might be. However, these Dell notebook models are not highly performing like the ones in XPS line, but they can be upgraded. As it results from the above lines, the XPS line of Dell notebooks is professionals’ choice as these can really stand up to various demanding claims of their users.
